“ Heirloom tavern is a true local gem talked away by the glen head train station with incredible service and even better food! My family and I have gone multiple times, tried different dishes every time and it never disappoints. Great bar like atmosphere but also candle lit tables as well, place is cozy and warm. Soups, salads, appetizers, main courses , everything is always on point, perfectly temped, and delicious. Go hungry and try everything! ”

Started off with a wedge salad and clams oreganata... both were excellent. My wife had the skirt steak done with a chimichuri sauce and I had the NY strip with a peppercorn sauce... again... Both excellent! Dessert... Holy hell!!! Unbelievable!!!... Beignets topped with homemade vanilla ice cream and a belgium chocolate sauce... Not sure what to even say... It was ridiculously good! ”

But the show stoppers were the fries which were out of this world and the flour less chocolate cake. The summer shandy on tap was refreshing. ”
